Situation

For a small business that wants to start selling online, it’s hard to picture what its shop will look like and what it needs. So I built a shop for a fictional Lithuanian linen clothing brand that you can try from choosing a product all the way to placing an order.

What I did

  • Built a custom WordPress theme without page-builder plugins: fast and easy to maintain.
  • Added 16 products with size and colour variants, a size guide and crossed-out sold-out variants.
  • Integrated Omniva parcel-locker selection with search, covering all 562 lockers in Lithuania.
  • Set up card payments (Stripe, in test mode), bank transfer and cash on delivery. Montonio payments and more couriers are ready to connect.
  • Free delivery from €50 with a progress bar in the cart, and a discount code advertised in a bar on every page.
  • PDF invoices are generated automatically, attached to branded order emails and available in the customer’s account.
  • Safe as a public demo: orders are deleted after 24 hours, checkout attempts and emails are rate-limited, and the pages are kept out of search engines.

Result

The shop shows what a small business can get: a clear, fast checkout in Lithuanian with all the essential details. On mobile the home page scores 99 for Lighthouse performance and 100 for accessibility and best practices. Try it yourself: card payments run in test mode, so no money is charged.
